Mobile Vikings

Today is my 42nd day as a Mobile Viking. Call, sms and internet work perfectly and it is at least 50 percent cheaper than Belgacom Proximus! (No this is not an ad, I'm just happy for making a good decision.)

linux usb adsl driver ?

Dear Linux community,

a friend of mine has a USB ADSL modem (Asus AAM6000UG). I'm trying to get this to work so he can access the internet (with Ubuntu 8.10 installed from CD).

The eciadsl-config-text asks me this:

Select your PPP mode (use the DEFAULT one if you don't know what this means):

1) VCM_RFC2364
2) LLC_RFC2364
3) LLC_SNAP_RFC1483_BRIDGED_ETH_NO_FCS
4) VCM_RFC_1483_BRIDGED_ETH
5) LLC_RFC1483_ROUTED_IP

Does anyone know the correct answer here for "Belgacom Time" with this modem ?
