Last year I was excited about the LHC, but it had an itch. It's supposed to be fixed now! Let the black holes come ;-)

Two days ago, earth was hit by a meteoroid. So what ?

This was the first time in human history that we knew a couple of days in advance that this meteor would hit our planet! You have all seen it many times in movies how NASA, NSA or MI6 are "tracking" all kind of objects that are approaching Earth, but in reality it is not as easy as in the movies (surprise surprise).

The two by five meter rock burned up in the atmosphere above Africa (Sudan).

The Large Hadron Collider is almost finished. Enjoy the awesome pictures. And for those who wonder... yes it does run Linux!
